Conducted Avifauna survey in three protected areas of Shimla district, Himachal Pradesh
Our organization worked on seasonal density & diversity of avifauna of three protected area (Talra, Renuka & Chail Wildlife Sanctuary) of Shimla district. In three protected area we found a total of 150 bird species which includes both resident and migratory species, highlighting the ecological importance of these protected areas. The Findings provide crucial insights for habitat management and conservation strategies tailored to support seasonal bird population as well as indicate the health of the ecosystem in these sanctuaries.
Preparation of Zonal Master Plan of Hirpora wildlife sanctuary, Shopian, J&K
We provided technical support to the department in framing Zonal Master of the Shopian Wildlife Division of Jammu & Kashmir Wildlife Protection Department. This strategic plan aims at enhancing wildlife conservation efforts and it also address need of sustainable management of crucial habitats, promoting eco-tourism and generating livelihood.

Provide technical support in preparing the Working Plan of chopal forest division as per the National Working Plan Code 2012
In Chopal, our team’s technical support was crucial in helping the forest department carry out the Working Plan field exercise, ensuring it adhered to the guidelines set forth in the Working Plan Code 2014. This effort not only streamlined data collection and field assessments but also played a key role in developing a comprehensive forest management strategy. The plan aims to balance conservation efforts with sustainable forest use, ensuring the long-term ecological health and resource availability in the region.
Monitoring & Evaluation of integrated forest management schemes in Shimla Forest division.
During the collaboration with the Shimla Forest Division, our organization undertook detailed beat-wise field research to assess the underlying causes of forest fires. Identifying fire-promoting factors like railway lines and high-tension wires provided critical insights for preventive measures. This proactive approach is instrumental in mitigating fire risks and preserving forest ecosystems, especially in vulnerable areas. The findings has also aid in the development of fire management strategies and awareness programs for local communities.

In the challenging conditions of the Spiti landscape, our team’s PRA exercises engaged local communities and key stakeholders from 15 villages surrounding the protected area.
